• Acute interest in upgrading the social and economic standards of the society in general and the under-privileged poor in particular.
• Actively involved in rural development, social service and Blood Donation Camps in the capacity of the president of the Social Service Organizations.
• Participated in All India Radio and TV Programmes focusing on improving the quality of Education, Personality and Creating Awareness about various social evils.
• Participated as Chief Guest/ Guest of Honor in a number of important functions of Educational Institutions and Social Organizations.
• Authored Course Material for the Undergraduate Programmes of the University of Madras in Business Administration & Management to the subject ‘Data Processing’ (in both English and Tamil).
• Authored Course Material for the Master’s Programme in Computer Application, Institute of Correspondence Education, University of Madras for Management Techniques, Data & File Structures and Microprocessor and its applications.
